Junior Microsoft Systems Administrator – Certifications Provided
We are currently looking for a Junior Microsoft Systems Administrator for to fill a spot on the Managed Services and Cloud Services Team.
The hired applicant will be classroom trained and Microsoft and/or VMware Certified within their first 6 months on the job.
As a Junior Microsoft Systems Administrator, you’ll be a technical liaison providing support to several firms in the DC area, interfacing with C-level executives to help support IT Strategy. Main responsibilities include migrations, server installations and desktop support.
This is an excellent opportunity to advance networking skills and grow towards a senior level engineer role.
- Administration experience of Windows XP and 7
- A sharp understanding of Microsoft product line, Active Directory
- Entry level knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007 and/or 2010
- Must know general networking protocols
- Understanding of Dell hardware configuration and its server lines
- Experience with OS deployment and image management

What you will be doing: as a Junior Systems Administrator on the Solutions Delivery Team, you will be part of a $200 million IT Cloud, Hosting and Business Continuity company, that services the mid to enterprise market. You will be working on virtualization projects for external clients 80% of your time. You will be performing post implementation server/networking support 10% of your time. You will be learning in our lab and training 10% of your time.
The Technologies You’ll Be Working With: Microsoft Windows Server, VMware ESXi, Windows 7 and 10, Microsoft Exchange Server, Office 365, Azure and AWS.
Must have an unwavering perseverance for problem solving, learning, and team building.
