The Junior System Engineer – IaaS should be experienced in the supporting of Windows Server technologies (A/D, Group Policy), able to migrate O365 (or help in a team environment) and possess the communication level to road-map technical solutions and services for the small-to-midsize business market in the Orange County area. Junior System Engineer – IaaS will support migrations to the cloud (Windows, 365, VMware, Citrix) for small to mid-size companies. The Windows Systems Engineer will be part of a team of engineers providing IT solutions across the globe and has grown from two million to five million in sales in less than five years.
The Junior System Engineer – IaaS will be provided a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 – $85,000 based on experience (we’ll look at a wide variety of skill sets, hence the wide range). Junior System Engineer – IaaS Desired Skills:
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience deploying and supporting of SMB environments: servers (Windows), networking (SonicWall and Cisco) and VMware or Hyper-V, Citrix, VDI and XenDesktop.
The Windows Systems Engineer will be working on 1-2 new client projects at a time, local travel only (10 mile radius). Excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. We are looking for someone with experience in the following technologies:
- Windows (Active Directory and Group Policy creation) VMware and Cloud Technologies
- Office 365, Public cloud experience (Azure and AWS desired)
- VMware ESXi or Hyper-V, P2V migrations , Citrix, VDI or XenApp/XenDesktop
- Administration with Cloud migrations of Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016
Cloud or Managed Services Industry Experience is required for this position.
