Lead IT Support Engineer
We are a Managed Services Provider (MSP) based in New Jersey, seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of IT support engineers, providing advanced technical support to our clients, and leading the team in delivering exceptional service.
As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior members of the team, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring all support tickets are resolved effectively and in a timely manner. In addition, you will collaborate with other department heads to implement new technologies, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT support, strong leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. In addition, the candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, network infrastructure, and virtualization technologies.
Lead IT Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of Level 3 support technicians
- Oversee all support tickets and ensure timely resolution
- Work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any escalations
- Continuously improve support processes and procedures
Lead IT Support Engineer Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Expertise in Windows and MacOS operating systems
- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Lead IT Support Engineer Salary + Benefits:
- $85,000 to $95,000 (dependent on experience)
