We are a growing Managed Services Provider in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Level 2 Help Desk Technician with Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 to $70,000 plus a $500 monthly bonus, with strong potential for career advancement. The first 90 days are fully onsite in Palatine, followed by a hybrid schedule with a mix of remote work and local client visits.
This role is ideal for a well-rounded technician who enjoys hands-on technical work, learning new systems, and working with a tight-knit MSP team. You’ll support a wide range of client environments, troubleshoot escalated service requests, and handle everything from provisioning and onboarding to desktop, server, and basic network troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve Level 2 service tickets via phone, email, or remote access
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and cloud-related issues
- Provision new users, configure devices, and assist with onboarding
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Perform patching, antivirus installs, and routine updates
- Use RMM and PSA tools to monitor client systems and manage support tickets
- Prioritize issues based on service level agreements (SLAs)
- Conduct onsite support visits throughout the Chicagoland area

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience at an MSP
- Strong skills with Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Solid understanding of desktop, server, and basic networking support
- Experience using RMM and PSA tools in a client-facing role
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- A+ or Network+ certification preferred
