A leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) serving businesses across Westchester, Manhattan, and surrounding areas is looking for a Level 2 Systems Administrator to join its fast-growing team. This role blends advanced support, client interaction, and hands-on project work.

You’ll handle both complex support escalations and proactive infrastructure projects — with strong growth opportunities into higher-level consulting and engineering roles.

Level 2 Systems Administrator (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced end-user and server support remotely and onsite
  • Manage workstation, server, network, and cloud issues
  • Perform system maintenance, backups, recovery, and file management
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware (SonicWall, Dell, Ubiquiti)
  • Lead small infrastructure projects and new deployments
  • Document systems, processes, and resolutions for internal knowledge sharing
  • Work directly with business clients to deliver clear solutions and guidance

Level 2 Systems Administrator (MSP) Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of IT support experience (MSP experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, ConnectWise, BrightGauge, NinjaOne RMM, and Axion Backup
  • Solid networking experience (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (client-facing)
  • Industry certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) are a plus
