Mid-Level Server Support Engineer – MSP

We seek a Mid-Level Server Support Engineer – MSP to join a growing Managed Service Provider based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The selected Mid-Level Server Support Engineer – MSP will provide proactive network and infrastructure administration to various clients. The Mid-Level Server Support Engineer – MSP will be part of a team that supports a growing list of clients both local to the DFW area as well as remote clients in other states/countries.

The Server Support Engineer – MSP position requires someone with over years of IT support / MSP experience who enjoys working with customers and learning from senior-level engineers. The Server Support Engineer – MSP will be responsible for customer facing remote technical support by phone and email, utilizing remote tools. The Server Support Engineer – MSP will be a technical resource and will , possess excellent verbal/written communication skills, be strongly self-motivated, and have the ability excel in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Mid-Level Server Support Engineer – MSP Experience:

Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Troubleshooting of modern networks including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless
Experience working for a Managed Service Provider/tech experience
Have experience working with O365, Active Directory, GPO administration
Knowledge and experience with virtual environments (AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V)
Manage tickets (ConnectWise, Kaseya, AutoTask, etc)
Experience with AD/M365 administration
Experience with network configuration of firewalls, switches, VLANs
Knowledge of Remote Desktop Technologies
Experience with networks (SonicWall, Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, etc.)
Responsibilities include the evaluation, selection and recommendation, technical documentation, and problem resolution for server and technology solutions.
