We are a local Cloud and It Services firm in business in 2005 and we are currently looking for a Mid System & Network Engineer – MSP that can help our small to medium-sized business customers operate more efficiently due to the proper use of today’s technologies. The Mid System & Network Engineer – MSP position is a great combination of both the consulting side and the technical side of the business. Beyond providing the typical tier 3 escalated IT support, the Mid System & Network Engineer – MSP will be responsible for providing proactive network assessments and recommendations to our clients to assist in their seamless day to day operations and strategic business goals, and project deployments/implementations.

- Mid System & Network Engineer – MSP Essential Responsibilities:
- Windows Server Installs and high-level troubleshooting
- Cloud & Server Deployments / Migrations
- Azure AD
- Azure VMs
- MDM / Intune
- Domain Controllers
- File Servers
- Print servers
- DHCP and subcomponents as necessary
- Microsoft Exchange migrations and troubleshooting
- This includes on Prem, O365, and Hybrid
- Network and Server documentation
- Ability to review an existing network, find and document potential trouble points and recommend proper remedies
- Hard drive recovery
- Stand alone and RAID Array repairs/recovery
- Virtual Server Setup and Migration (P to V or V to V)
- Should have good working knowledge or Hyper-V and VMWare
- Wireless Networks
- Install/Configure/Troubleshoot
- Installation of Complex WIFI networks with VLAN tagging and Guest Portal logons
- Network troubleshooting
- Basic to Advanced Layer troubleshooting
- Network equipment Installation and configuration
- Ability to install and configure routers, switches, Firewall
- Preferred knowledge HP, Aruba, Cisco, Meraki, WatchGuard, SonicWALL
- VPN Site to Site buildouts and troubleshooting
- VPN End user connectivity setup and troubleshooting via
- Supporting all hardware and software Add, Change, Move, Install, Imaging, Upgrade of desktops, printers, scanners, devices, equipment and ensure optimal performance of the end-user workstations
- Ensuring desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems to help minimize end-user’s downtime
- Performs work in compliance within specified warranty requirements and returns defective equipment/parts to maintenance inventory, document customer repairs, maintains and restocks assigned parts inventory
Mid System & Network Engineer – MSP Education/Experience Requirements:
- 4+ years’ related experience in an MSP type environment or at least 7 years if supporting just a single organization
- CCNA, MCSA, MSCE, or any of the updated Azure certs highly recommended (we will pay for you to attain)
- Must be able to transport self to various customer locations
- Possess strong analytical skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a wide range of users having different levels of computer expertise.
- Ability to design workable solutions to problems in a timely manner
- Willing to train and help others
- Strong documentation skills
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving history
Mid System & Network Engineer – MSP Compensation: Competitive salary (based on experience, technical aptitude and industry certifications, typical range is 100-120k, but for the right person 150k isn’t out of the question, and if you don’t have all the qualifications but show promise, we hire JR/Mid SysAdmins in the 60-90k range) plus full benefits package:
