MSP IT Help Desk Technician Overview:

We are a mid-sized Cloud and Managed Service Provider based in Syosset, NY. With multiple internal promotions, we have opened our doors again to bring on another MSP IT Help Desk Technician to our team.

As the MSP IT Help Desk Technician, you will provide direct end-user support remotely and onsite as needed, handle backend Systems Administration, assist with maintenance and administration of PC/Server applications and hardware, as well as contribute to projects involving servers, workstations, and network upgrades.

MSP IT Help Desk Technician Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Experience working with/knowledge of Windows Server (2012, 2016), Windows OS (7, 8, 10), MAC iOS, VMWare, Microsoft Office applications
  • VMware ESXi & Hyper-V
  • Azure AD (Azure VMs a plus) / O365
  • ConnectWise or other ticketing / RMM experience
  • Working Knowledge of WAN, LAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, TCP/IP
  • Excellent understanding of desktop management tools
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Good people skills to facilitate dealing with PC users at all levels of the corporation
  • Experience in managing workflow and multitasking
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider or full-service IT consultancy firm required

MSP IT Help Desk Technician Compensation and Benefits:
