We are seeking a MSP – Microsoft Systems Engineer to join one of our leading Managed Services firms that will help steer the ship of a growing company. The MSP – Microsoft Systems Engineer will be part of deployments/projects, establishing, distributing, and routing plans for the entire company.
The MSP – Microsoft Systems Engineer candidate will design, implement, support LAN/WAN technologies (including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, installation of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, etc..).. The MSP – Microsoft Systems Engineer can expect to engage in a diverse portfolio of projects, build internal & external relationships to drive standards, grow the business, and execute key strategies.
The MSP – Microsoft Systems Engineer candidate will have hands-on experience with Hyper-V, Firewalls, Microsoft Server technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing technology and business solutions for assigned clients.
MSP – Microsoft Systems Engineer Experience:
- MUST HAVE 3+ YEARS OF MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER EXPERIENCE
- Office 365 troubleshooting/administration/migration
- Supporting and preserving the Virtual Desktop setup
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Azure AD, Azure to On-Prem VPNs, and hybrid AD connect required.
- Experience managing Microsoft stack such as Microsoft Exchange/365, Azure/Hyper-V, Server 2012 R2, and Server 2016 R2 require
- Implement a data network with routers, firewalls, and switches
- Cloud and virtualization using Azure, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and QoS as well as a basic understanding of Metro Ethernet, FiOS, Cable Modems, and T1
- Experience with ticketing systems and RMM
- Experience with Cisco/Meraki/SonicWall
