Due to continued growth, we are seeking a MSP Senior System Engineer – Team Leam to lead our team and work on high level projects as needed. This is the ideal role for someone looking for a perfect mix of hands-on technical work and leading a team.

The MSP Senior System Engineer – Team Lead responsibilities include managing Engineers/Technicians, hands-on project-based work, acting as an escalation point, and connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. As a MSP Senior System Engineer – Team Lead you should also have a strong understanding of the needs of clientele and ensure their needs are met whenever possible. In this role, you will rely heavily on your cross-functional experience working with all internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.

MSP Senior System Engineer – Team Lead Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage service delivery employees and perform reviews.
  • Provide tactical and strategic support to all service delivery teams.
  • Design and implement short-term and long-term plans to ensure service delivery capacity meets existing and future requirements based upon key metrics and organization strategy.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for service delivery administration and management.
  • Participate in the development of the annual IT strategic business plan.
  • Manage, report and be held accountable on KPI metrics for respective teams.
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards to continual improve service offerings

MSP Senior System Engineer – Team Lead Technical Skills:

  • Develop a reusable repository of SOPs, tools, work objects, best practices, project development
  • Delivery standards, though leadership and frameworks for efficient execution of IT Service Delivery
  • MS Hyper-V or Azure deployments
  • MS Office 365 migrations
  • Support and administration of MS Windows Server solutions (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Implement and administer Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Implement and support Microsoft Intune
  • Ongoing support for client’s Microsoft infrastructure
  • Implement and administer infrastructure for business solutions based on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019
  • Implement and administer virtual environments for both desktops and servers based on Microsoft, VMWare products.
  • Configure and manage enterprise applications such as Active Directory, SQL, SharePoint, and third-party applications.
  • Provide tier 3 troubleshooting support for a complete range of systems and network issues.

MSP Senior System Engineer – Team Lead Salary + Benefits:

  • $130,000 – $150,000 (dependent on experience)
