MSP Support Specialist Tier II (ConnectWise)

We are a large National Managed Service Provider looking to add to our collaborative team! We have been around for 25+ years and have a true passion for working with cutting edge technology.

We currently have an opening for a MSP Support Specialist Tier II (ConnectWise). The MSP Support Specialist Tier II (ConnectWise) will be responsible for level II technical support for clients supporting support Windows Servers, O365 administration, Datto, configuring/maintaining servers via Hyper-V, and cloud computing (Azure/AWS – willing to train). The MSP Support Specialist Tier II (ConnectWise) will also have ample opportunities to work along side project engineers to grow their migration, configuration & deployment experience.

MSP Support Specialist Tier II (ConnectWise) Responsibilities: 

  • Support, and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Support, and troubleshoot VMware, HyperV, etc.
  • Work with, support, and troubleshoot the latest backup technologies (Datto, StoreageCraft, etc.)
  • Setup wireless networks
  • Handle a mixture of front-line tickets and escalated desktop support issues
  • Act as a Team Lead over the more junior Service Desk members; monitoring “trouble tickets”, keeping tabs on the support desk as a whole using dashboards and internal report

MSP Support Specialist-Tier II (ConnectWise) Requirements:

  • 1+ years working for a Managed Service Provider Required
  • Experience handling Tier II technical issues on the service desk
  • ConnectWise experience a major plus
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows 7, 8 and 10, Microsoft Office & Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with wireless networking, router/switch/firewall configurations
  • Intermediate- advanced understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, etc
  • Server Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, etc)
