MSP System Administrator Overview:

We are on the hunt for a System Administrator to support our clients and assist in an exciting variety of projects. As a Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the overall infrastructure across multiple domains. You will be part of a team that designs, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots client networks, servers, and workstations.

MSP System Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced escalated technical support and administration relating to issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications, operating systems, and cloud solutions including but not limited to: AD, DNS, DHCP, file & print services, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and SQL
  • Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Configuration and technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
  • Provide secure remote access solution implementation and support: VDI, terminal services, VPN, remote services, and Citrix
  • Collaborate to assist the Professional Services team in the successful completion of high-level projects.

MSP System Administrator Requirements:

  • Solid experience with Windows and Mac OS desktop operating systems.
  • Experience with MS servers (troubleshooting, supporting, and implementing) including Exchange Server 2010-2019 and Office 365.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mail flow troubleshooting.
  • Experience with VPN remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policies.
  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 stack, including Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of firewalls, networking/routing (switches, routers, etc.), and wireless configurations.
  • Experience in a SLA driven MSP is required for consideration
