An established and fast-growing Healthcare IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) is seeking a highly skilled IT Technician to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with healthcare clients, manage both onsite and remote support needs, and handle complex networking and systems issues across diverse environments.

This position is best suited for an experienced MSP professional who enjoys client interaction, takes ownership of technical challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced Level 2 support for servers, networks, and business-critical systems
  • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and wireless access points (Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWall, Ubiquiti, Juniper)
  • Support and administer Office 365 solutions
  • Deliver clear, professional, and timely communication to clients and internal teams
  • Accurately document work in the ticketing system and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
  • Mentor junior technicians and assist in technical skill development
  • Perform onsite client visits as required (mileage reimbursed)

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with 3+ years in an MSP environment
  • Hands-on expertise with networking hardware, security appliances, and listed vendors
  • Strong proficiency in Office 365, Active Directory, and VOIP administration
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced support setting
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for client site visits
