Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider
Seeking a Senior System Administrator & Project Engineer to work full time from home for a Managed Services Provider. Due to significant growth in the past 2 years, we are looking to expand our managed services teams. As a Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider
you will support existing client hardware and software solutions, while working within our team environment to understand current and future requirements and develop scalable and cost-efficient solutions.
The Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider will be responsible for project-based work and acting as a point of escalation. The Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider position should be MSP experienced able to both provide A-Z autonomous support while also, being able to roadmap technology solutions, suggest innovative solutions that scale clients’ infrastructures for proactive support in the future.
Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider position:
- Design, upgrade and continual maintenance of client networks and servers.
- Analysis of networks and recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
- Timely diagnoses of, response to, and resolution of client support cases
Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider position:
- Develop, test, and implement PowerShell or other scripting technologies supported by the RMM solution for partner needs.
- Design, Implement, Support Microsoft Active Directory environments
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Design, Implement, Support LAN/WAN technologies (including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, installation of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, etc..)
- Previous experience with ConnectWise a plus
Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider Benefits:
