Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider

Seeking a Senior System Administrator & Project Engineer to work full time from home for a Managed Services Provider. Due to significant growth in the past 2 years, we are looking to expand our managed services teams. As a Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider
you will support existing client hardware and software solutions, while working within our team environment to understand current and future requirements and develop scalable and cost-efficient solutions.

The Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider will be responsible for project-based work and acting as a point of escalation. The Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider position should be MSP experienced able to both provide A-Z autonomous support while also, being able to roadmap technology solutions, suggest innovative solutions that scale clients’ infrastructures for proactive support in the future.

Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider position:

Design, upgrade and continual maintenance of client networks and servers.
Analysis of networks and recommendations for improvements.
Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
Timely diagnoses of, response to, and resolution of client support cases

Project Engineer – Managed Service Provider position:

Develop, test, and implement PowerShell or other scripting technologies supported by the RMM solution for partner needs.
Design, Implement, Support Microsoft Active Directory environments
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
Design, Implement, Support LAN/WAN technologies (including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, installation of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, etc..)
Previous experience with ConnectWise a plus
