Senior Citrix Engineer (MSP):

Due to an influx of growth, we are seeking an experienced, MSP, Level 3 Citrix Engineer with in-depth knowledge of On-prem Citrix implementations (specifically Citrix Version 7).

As a Level 3 Citrix Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Citrix environments for multiple clients within our Managed Service Provider (MSP). In addition to strong Citrix expertise, you will also possess a broad understanding of related technologies, including VMware, Microsoft Systems Administration, Enterprise Administration, and AWS/Azure cloud.

Senior Citrix Engineer (MSP) Responsibilities:

Citrix Infrastructure Management

  • Design, deploy, and manage Citrix infrastructures, specifically focusing on On-prem Citrix implementations with Citrix Version 7.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Citrix components such as XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, and StoreFront.
  • Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of Citrix environments.
  • Technical Support and Issue Resolution:
  • Provide Level 3 support for incidents and problems related to Citrix environments, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with other teams, vendors, and clients to resolve Citrix-related problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures.

System Administration

  • Administer and maintain VMware virtualization platforms, including vSphere and vCenter.
  • Perform Microsoft system administration tasks, including Active Directory management, Group Policy configuration, and Windows Server administration.
  • Configure and manage enterprise-level infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.

Cloud Integration and Support

  • Leverage your knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud platforms to assist clients in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate Citrix environments with cloud services and ensure seamless operation.

Project Management and Implementation

  • Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery of Citrix-related initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure successful project outcomes within agreed timelines and budget.
