Senior Cloud and Systems Engineer – MSP
Location: Must be within 45 minutes of Los Angeles (90036) or Whittier (90602)
Schedule: Onsite 5 days/week during ramp-up, then hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

We’re seeking a Senior Cloud and Systems Engineer to lead cloud architecture and systems design across a mix of on-prem and cloud environments. This is a key leadership role that combines deep technical knowledge, strategic vision, and mentoring responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Systems Architecture (60%)

Design high availability and disaster recovery strategies for hybrid and cloud-based solutions.

Lead the development of reusable cloud design patterns.

Serve as subject matter expert for virtualization, multi-tenancy, orchestration, and DevOps tools.

Evaluate and design architectural options across Azure, AWS, GCP, and on-prem platforms.

Collaborate on complex DevOps development initiatives.
Consulting & Implementation (10%)

Lead project scope, design, testing, and deployment for internal and client solutions.

Own resolution of critical technical issues and provide escalation paths as needed.

Partner with stakeholders to align solution delivery with business objectives.
Thought Leadership (15%)

Provide strategic insight into evolving technologies and their role in business growth.

Define and evangelize cloud vision and architecture across platforms and tools.
Mentorship & Team Development (15%)

Coach and mentor team members, guiding them through technical challenges.
