Senior Engineer – (MSP)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – (MSP) to join a Managed Service Provider who is a leader in Cloud/Managed Service in the Tri-State area. The Senior Engineer – (MSP) will be joining a business that cares for their employees which is apparent through their emphasis on work life balance and investing back into their employees.
The Senior Engineer – (MSP) should have strong experience with Cloud technologies (Azure) and with Virtualization technologies (VMware). As the Senior Engineer – (MSP) you will take a lead role as the technical expert for all infrastructure-related outages, failures, and problems. The ideal Senior Engineer – (MSP) will commit to professional growth and development by maintaining and/or obtaining new industry specific certifications.
Senior Engineer – (MSP) Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist on remote and on-premise server/virtualization upgrades
- Coach Tier 2 and Tier 1 engineers on technical decision making and ticket curation.
- Provide Microsoft 365 and Azure Platform solutions leadership, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Desktop, email, Intune, etc.
- Provide leadership, team development, project assessment, planning and management direction to the Managed Services and Professional services teams
- Provide top-notch technical support in your areas of subject matter expertise (storage, virtualization, Windows OS).
Senior Engineer – (MSP) Requirements:
- 5+ years of MSP experience REQUIRED
- Expert router, switch, vNET (cloud) networking/IP routing knowledge including VLANs, VPNs
- Server OS and associated technologies’ project management, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (Windows 2019, 2016, 2012/R2, 2008, 2003, MS Exchange, Office365, AD, security)
- Strong virtualization with VMware/vCenter and Hyper-V
- IT Glue administration, process automation abilities preferred
Senior Engineer – (MSP) Benefits:
