We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – MSP (PWFH) to join a Managed Service Provider who has been a leader in Cloud/Managed Service in the Tri-State area for over 50 years. The Senior Engineer – MSP (PWFH)) will help modernize infrastructures and migrate users from on-prem solutions to cloud solutions.

The Senior Engineer – MSP (PWFH) should have strong experience with Cloud technologies (Azure) and with Virtualization technologies (VMware). As the Senior Engineer – MSP (PWFH) will Coach Tier 2 and Tier 1 engineers on technical decision making and ticket curation. The ideal Senior Engineer – MSP (PWFH) should be able to Identify and drive opportunities to automate repeatable networking tasks including through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools.

Senior Engineer – MSP (PWFH) Responsibilities:

• Lead and assist on remote and on-premise server/virtualization upgrades
•  Coach Tier 2 and Tier 1 engineers on technical decision making and ticket curation.
• Provide Microsoft 365 and Azure Platform solutions leadership, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Desktop, email, Intune, etc.
• Provide leadership, team development, project assessment, planning and management direction to the Managed Services and Professional services teams
• Provide top-notch technical support in your areas of subject matter expertise (storage, virtualization, Windows OS).

Senior Engineer – MSP (PWFH) Requirements:

• 5+ years of MSP experience REQUIRED
• Expert router, switch, vNET (cloud) networking/IP routing knowledge including VLANs, VPNs
• Server OS and associated technologies’ project management, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (Windows 2019, 2016, 2012/R2, 2008, 2003, MS Exchange, Office365, AD, security)
• Strong virtualization with VMware/vCenter and Hyper-V
• IT Glue administration, process automation abilities preferred
