Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, managing complex IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of client systems. You will work autonomously and collaboratively, handling escalations, performing system administration, and supporting a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and troubleshoot server operating systems and infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and maintain file, print, and remote access services.
  • Handle Tier 2 technical escalations and complex issue resolution.
  • Administer user accounts, groups, file permissions, and event logs.
  • Configure and manage backup systems and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Perform Active Directory configuration and maintenance.
  • Oversee enterprise email administration and support.
  • Support and troubleshoot Office 365, G-Suite, and other productivity tools.
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.
  • Manage MDR/EDR solutions and other security technologies.
  • Configure and support virtualization environments (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Support network configurations, including TCP/IP, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, including SAN architecture and workstation components.
  • Support cloud services and environments, including Azure (VDI, InTune, SharePoint) and AWS.
  • Oversee the implementation of new IT solutions and participate in client meetings as needed.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience with Office 365, G-Suite, PowerShell automation, and MDR/EDR solutions.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise email systems.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and SAN architecture.
  • Experience with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routers, firewalls, and Cisco/SonicWall solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure (including Azure AD) and AWS.
  • Experience with ConnectWise Automate or similar RMM tools is preferred.
  • Apple/Mac support experience is a plus.
  • Ability to support and troubleshoot both Windows and mobile operating systems.
