About the Role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex network environments. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies to support clients, implement proactive solutions, and act as the final escalation point for Tier 3 issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless systems.
- Work with leading technologies like Ubiquiti, Meraki, Cisco Catalyst, SonicWall, Fortigate, and Palo Alto.
- Implement and manage advanced network protocols (RSTP, VLANs, QoS, IGMP, etc.).
- Optimize, design, and analyze Wi-Fi systems using tools like Ekahau.
- Onboard and monitor client networks using Auvik NMS.
- Lead solution design and implementation to meet client business requirements.
- Ensure network uptime through proactive maintenance and support.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and network changes.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 7 years of experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network environments.
- Expertise in networking, routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with advanced protocols (TCP/IP, QoS, NAT, VLANs, RSTP).
- MSP experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle client interactions with professionalism and respect.
