Systems Engineer – vCIO for SMBs
We have an open position for a Systems Engineer to perform: 1) hands-on IT installations and projects, 2) perform vCIO functions, such as IT strategy and account management for key clients.
The vCIO will be joining an IT Infrastructure Support and Cloud Hosting company that supports small & mid-size business in the D.C Metro area for over 20 years.
What the Systems Engineer vCIO Will Really Be Doing: This position will be working with the key clients and their decision makers, to help them define their IT strategy, IT projects (i.e. moving to the Cloud), and you’ll perform account management to ensure proper delivery. This is a hands-on role and a vCIO role managing client networks and business relationships
You will be working for a cutting-edge IT Cloud Computing, Hosting and Managed Services Provider that invests in it’s people, has an elite management staff that has grown their company by 60-80% every year since 2010.
- Why You Should Apply: You will receive comprehensive training in virtualization (VMware), Citrix, Cisco and Microsoft technologies. The Systems Engineer will also receive 4 certifications within 18 months of employment. You will receive extensive training to advance quickly (within 12-18 months) into heavy IT strategy and working with external clients to engineer solutions and manage their technology portfolio.
- What the Systems Engineer WONT’T Be Doing: monotonous client remediation support, you WON’T be doing low-level support, and you WON’T be advancing slowly or pigeon hold.
