Microsoft partner for the medium to large market (300-1000 users), positioned as experts moving clients to the cloud (O365/Azure suite).

Senior Project Engineer & Architect – Windows / VMware Job Description:

The Senior Project Engineer & Architect will be a part of the the Project Engineering Team.  This position requires someone with exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Must be willing to understand customer needs and translate requirements into infrastructure technology solutions. Must be able to understand and support Windows Server and VMware network and system infrastructure. Must have the ability to work in a highly visible, fast paced environment, with major responsibility to deliver project requirements and deadlines. Requires thorough knowledge of complete IT infrastructure environments and technologies. Proven track record of working and supporting various client or multiple locations, establishing and maintaining networks, servers, & systems by architecting, designing, proactively managing, and troubleshooting network problems.

Senior Project Engineer & Architect – Windows / VMware Responsibilities:

  • Scope client networks, put together network assessments and scopes of work
  • Design/Architecting Cloud solutions, migrating client infrastructure to the Cloud (Windows, Azure, VMware)
  • O365 mastery is a must!
  • Microsoft server operating systems
  • Active Directory, DNS, DFS, DHCP, Group Policy
  • Exchange 2010/2013 & experience with native and third-party migration tools
  • Lead a small team, function as hands-on architect providing instruction to system admins
