We are a well-established managed IT services provider is seeking a Senior System Administrator with MSP experience to lead complex infrastructure projects and serve as a top-tier escalation point. This full-time position starts onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with a hybrid work schedule available after onboarding. Compensation ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, plus a full benefits package.
This role is ideal for a senior-level IT professional who enjoys designing and deploying advanced solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking platforms. You’ll work directly with clients, lead projects, and help drive infrastructure modernization in a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions including Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and virtualization
- Lead client-facing projects such as cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and onboarding
- Resolve advanced technical issues as the final escalation point for Tier 2/3 support
- Collaborate with engineers and client stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure IT environments
- Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to process improvement
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP)
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Azure services, firewalls, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking
- Proven ability to manage projects and handle high-level escalations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, CompTIA, or Cisco are a plus
