Senior System Administrator (MSP) Overview:

We are continuing to expand which is why we need a Senior System Administrator (MSP) to join our Professional Services team. As a Senior System Administrator (MSP), you will work closely with the managing consultant ensuring project plans are designed and implemented with a high degree of quality and with excellent communication to all stakeholders. From troubleshooting advanced network related issues remotely/on-site to working on Azure virtual machines, the Senior System Administrator (MSP) provides a vital function in support of the excellent service provided to our clients. 

We are only accepting Senior System Administrator (MSP) applicants with previous experience working for a Managed Services Provider.

Senior System Administrator (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and deploy new network infrastructure and server environments.
  • Deploy complex solutions involving a variety of technologies, including Exchange, VMWare, Windows Server and Office 365 technologies (SharePoint, Azure, Skype for Business, etc). 
  • Manage, maintain and upgrade existing networks and servers. 
  • Manage complex technology projects including coordinating internal and external resources. 

Senior System Administrator (MSP) Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge in computer networking technologies and protocols, such as basic routing, VLANs, ACLs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SD-WAN, BGP, VPN, ZTNA, WiFi, etc.
  • Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Checkpoint firewalls
  • Knowledge in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare, Remote Desktop Services, SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 technologies (SharePoint, Azure AD, Teams, etc). Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge is a plus. 
  • Basic knowledge of storage and server hardware.  
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interface professionally with clients.
