Senior System Administrator – MSP (Hybrid WFH):
We are a dynamic Managed Services Provider that has served small to medium sized businesses in the Houston area for over 20 years! We pride ourselves on having a close-knit, and collaborative work environment, and being a customer-service-focused company. This role is hybrid WFH with half of the time in our Katy office and the remaining time at home.
The ideal Senior System Administrator – MSP (Hybrid WFH) candidate will have a strong background in VEEAM, Azure Stack HCI (or Microsoft Clustering), PowerShell scripting, and Fortinet (or equivalent) firewall management. As the Senior System Administrator – MSP (Hybrid WFH), you will be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Senior System Administrator – MSP (Hybrid WFH) Key Responsibilities:
- Manage VEEAM backup and replication platform to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Maintain Azure Stack HCI environments, including working with vendor for additional resource deployment, scaling, hypervisor management, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and streamline operations.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls to ensure network security and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor system performance using VEEAM ONE and other tools, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT solutions that meet business requirements for clients.
- Provide technical support and training to team members in using VEEAM and private cloud platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our IT infrastructure remains secure and highly available.
- Act as highest escalation and last point of failure utilizing vendor support as needed.
