Senior System Administrator – MSP (Partial WFH):

First founded in 2002, we are a growing Managed and Cloud Services Provider that caters heavily to the Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Legal industries across the country. Our core offerings include help desk support, Managed Services, Cloud Services, and Security as a Service. Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking a Senior System Administrator – MSP (Partial WFH). This person will report to our Elgin HQ 3 times per month and support clients onsite as needed (less than 20% of the time per month).

The Senior System Administrator – MSP (Partial WFH) will be responsible for implementation, administration, maintenance, and level 3 issue resolution. You will be working directly with clients to determine IT solutions that fit their unique needs and budgets. However, this is not a Sales role. Negotiations are handled by our Sales team – the Senior System Administrator – MSP (Partial WFH) will be strictly focused on the technical aspect!

Senior System Administrator – MSP (Partial WFH) Technical Expertise:

  • Microsoft Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022)
  • VMware and Hyper-V
  • Microsoft Active Directory (Trusts, Group Policy, Login Scripts, etc…)
  • Microsoft Exchange Setup, Configuration, and Troubleshooting
  • Microsoft SQL Server Setup and Troubleshooting
  • Microsoft RDP Server Setup and Troubleshooting
  • Microsoft 365 Setup, Migrations, and Troubleshooting
  • Azure Entra ID, Azure Servers, and Microsoft 365 admin center
  • Microsoft Windows Client OS (10/11) Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting
  • Enterprise SAN Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting (HP, Synology, Nimble, EMC, Etc…)
  • Data backup and recovery solutions (Acronis, Datto, etc…)
  • Enterprise Wireless Setup, Administration and Troubleshooting
  • Layer 2/3 Switching
  • Experience supporting UTM firewalls (Cisco Meraki, Sophos, Sonicwall etc…)
  • Excellent customer service and people skills required
