Senior System Administrator (Partial WFH) Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and build-out of comprehensive support services for Microsoft-related technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Teams, Azure, SharePoint, Windows Server, and SQL.
- Drive the design and implementation of support services for virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft platforms.
- Take charge of IT support issues related to internal systems and network infrastructure, ensuring seamless implementation and prompt resolution.
- Spearhead the design and implementation of technical services and support at the network level, encompassing WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security measures.
- Oversee the administration and implementation of hosted and cloud solutions for customers, leveraging technologies that align with their specific requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced support strategies and oversee the implementation of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Guide the implementation and support of remote access solutions, including VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix, ensuring secure and reliable access for users.
- Monitor remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, taking proactive measures and driving implementation through service tickets. Direct the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system, including updating agent scripts, responding to alerts, and conducting periodic system reviews.
- Drive the documentation process for all computer systems and network infrastructure, ensuring comprehensive documentation of implementation and build-outs.
- Facilitate effective communication with customers, providing updates on implementation progress and coordinating changes or outages as required.
