Senior System Administrator – Professional Services
We are a growing, highly customer-centric IT Solutions firm is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator – Professional Services to help us continue to provide expert IT solutions and exceptional customer service to small and medium-sized businesses.
The ideal Senior System Administrator – Professional Services will have prior experience presenting solutions to C Level executives and stakeholders. They will feel equally comfortable leading project meetings and working as part of a technical team to design and build solutions.
The Senior System Administrator – Professional Services will have excellent technical, troubleshooting, customer service skills, and will have a “yes I can” attitude. They will be eager to learn and do more as well as share their experiences with their teammates to better the group.
The ideal Senior System Administrator – Professional Services will have experience working with a broad range of technologies and solutions including:
- Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, Server Virtualization
- Microsoft Server 2016-2022 and other Operating Systems
- Active Directory Group Policies
- Active Directory Security
- Microsoft O365, Azure VMs, Azure AD
- TCP-IP Networking
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions
- Meraki Firewalls, VPNs and Security Solutions
- Cloud Technologies
Senior System Administrator – Professional Services Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for supporting clients as a member of our high touch team, both on client sites as well as from our office. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing and servicing our clients’ networks and critical systems. You will take escalated issues from our Help Desk team as well as provide technical mentorship.
Senior System Administrator – Professional Services Requirements:

- Technical leadership ability
- Highly responsive
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to read/speak/write at a high level. The role requires high level written communication skills.
- Demonstrated technical skillset and experience
- Resourcefulness – the ability to figure things out
- Technical certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Dell and other top solutions are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of MSP tools (Connectwise) a big plus
- Office365 Administration and Migrations
- Microsoft Azure administration
- Datto / Barracuda products
