Senior System Administrator / Projects Engineer (MSP) Overview:

We are a well-established IT services firm specializing in helping small to large companies make the most of their IT in a cost-effective way. We are seeking a Senior System Administrator / Projects Engineer (MSP) with previous experience working in the Managed IT industry.

As a Senior System Administrator / Projects Engineer (MSP), you’ll be a key member of our technical team, responsible for managing and enhancing the IT infrastructure of our diverse client base. Your role involves providing high-level technical expertise, designing robust systems, and implementing cutting-edge solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, develop strategic IT roadmaps, and ensure seamless technology operations.

Senior System Administrator / Projects Engineer (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Lead Azure migration projects end-to-end for a variety of clients, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, and support.
  • Troubleshoot network and server-related issues for internal and external clients.
  • Follow technical best practices and provide subject matter expertise for project and support engagements.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for junior engineers and project managers.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide technical consultation to clients while managing their expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on technical projects and initiatives.

Senior System Administrator / Projects Engineer (MSP) Requirements:

  • Previous experience working for a Managed Services Provider
  • Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Strong experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
  • Strong experience with M365 administration and migrations
  • Professional experience with Azure migrations, specifically moving on-premises workloads to Azure
  • Experience with standard network infrastructure installations and upgrades (VPN, routers, firewalls, switches, WAPs)
  • Experience with security hardening (anti-virus, email filtering, dual-factor authentication, secure remote access)

Senior System Administrator / Projects Engineer (MSP) Salary + Benefits:

  • $130,000 – $140,000
