Senior System Administrator / Solutions Architect (MSP)
We are a leading Cloud & Managed IT Services Provider with over 20 years of experience supporting business clients throughout NJ and NY. Our goal is simple, providing businesses with cutting edge technology solutions that propel their growth. This is a hybrid WFH allowing the Senior System Administrator / Solutions Architect (MSP) to WFH 2-3 days per week.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a personable, consultative Senior System Administrator / Solutions Architect (MSP) to provide service to their clients in the Northern NJ and NYC area. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with a proven track record to develop, implement, and support various initiatives in the area of Systems Engineering. Because of the very wide breadth of systems that will be configured, supported and maintained, the ideal Senior System Administrator / Solutions Architect (MSP) candidate must have a wide knowledge base focused on Windows and Azure environments.
Previous experience working for a MSP or CSP required for the role.
Senior System Administrator / Solutions Architect (MSP) Required Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Windows System Administration
- At least 5 years of experience in Network Administration
- At least 3 years of experience managing Microsoft 365
- At least 2 years of experience managing Azure
- At least 1 year of previous experience working for a Managed Services Provider
- Experience with virtual technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Strong understanding of base concepts and protocols such as TCP, NAT, ARP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, VLAN, VPN
- Experience configuring and managing switches and firewalls
- Ability to perform end-to-end troubleshooting of issues, where the problem may lie in the storage, server, network or anywhere in between
- Ability to follow change controls and security procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
