Senior System Administrator / vCIO (MSP)
We are a IT Services Provider with a national presence supporting business ranging from medium to enterprise size. Founded in 1996, we are constantly evolving to keep our clients on the cutting edge. We offer traditional managed services, cloud services, security-as-a-service, hosting within our own datacenters, strategic consultation, and support anything with an “on/off” switch.
Due to organic growth, we are seeking a Senior System Administrator / vCIO (MSP). The primary responsibilities of the Senior System Administrator / vCIO (MSP) are managing the network and server infrastructure of clients. As a Senior System Administrator / vCIO (MSP), you will be the primary technical contact for the customer and ensures that service delivery aligns with company standards. You will have an in-depth knowledge of the customer with the desired goal of reducing the amount of reactive support required for the client. A successful Senior System Administrator / vCIO (MSP) must also possess high-level technical skills (L3 or above) as they will scope and execute advanced projects such as cloud migrations. Senior System Administrator / vCIO (MSP) serve as the highest escalation point for their assigned customers’ technical issues.

Senior System Administrator / vCIO (MSP) Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain knowledge and individual ownership of client networks:
-Network snapshot
-Hardware and software inventories
-Updating configuration records in PSA system
-Basic understanding of Line of Business (LOB) applications and associated vendors
- Perform regular onsite and remote services in support of your assigned clients:
-Check server/network health
-Monitor tools/application health
-Check logs & maintains backups
-Perform restoration tests
-Provide L3 technical support & resolve escalated user issues that reactive support team is unable to address
-Develop relationships with clients based on mutual trust and respect
-Implement new technology
-Onsite proactive services
- High-level L3 IT generalist skillset required: significant experience with deploying and administering Windows Server/Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, VMWare/Hyper-V, WAN/LAN connectivity (switching, routers, firewalls, security, VPN), Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, monitoring tools such as PRTG and Zabbix, MSP service delivery tools including RMM and PSA.
