Senior System Administrator (Windows/Azure)

Currently, we’re seeking a seasoned Senior System Administrator (Windows/Azure) for our Projects Team, ideally with previous experience in Managed Service Providers (MSP). Collaboration is key, offering ample opportunities for our Senior System Administrator (Windows/Azure) to learn from one another. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including M365 administration and migrations, Windows Server, VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure administration and migrations, and SonicWALL.

We are specifically looking for candidates with MSP or CSP experience.

Senior System Administrator (Windows/Azure) Knowledge Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with IT projects such as Managed Services client onboarding, M365 and Azure migrations, and security audits (both cloud and on-premises).
  • Proficiency in networking and wireless setups.
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, SharePoint, and Intune.
  • Familiarity with file sharing and VPNs.
  • Experience with PSA/Ticketing systems; knowledge of Autotask or ConnectWise is preferred.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and workflow enhancement, driven by feedback.

Senior System Administrator (Windows/Azure) Technologies and Projects:

  • Onboarding new clients to our managed services.
  • Transitioning from physical infrastructure to Azure hosted environments.
  • M365/Azure onboarding and migrations.
  • Conducting environment security audits, whether in the cloud or on-premises.
  • Designing and implementing networking infrastructure for client offices, including new constructions or overhauls.
  • Leveraging cloud services such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and deploying software with RMM, Intune, and/or group policy.
  • Executing cloud migrations, including transitioning from traditional servers to SharePoint/OneDrive, migrating from Google Drive to Office 365, and moving internal/physical server workloads to virtualized hosts.
  • Managing networking upgrades, including ISP upgrades, SonicWALL, Ubiquiti UniFi, VLAN, and SD-WAN configurations.
