We are currently seeking an IT Senior System Administrator (MSP). Your expertise will be heavily relied upon in designing and maintaining complex systems environments for both internal and customer-facing platforms. As an IT Senior System Administrator (MSP), you will act as a central point of contact for network trouble and problem escalation notifications. Strong interpersonal skills and expertise in engineering cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premises architectures are essential for this position.

Senior System Administrator Responsibilities Entail:

  • Collaborating with system and network architects to devise and implement enterprise systems aligning with our internal and customer requirements.
  • Leading cross-departmental virtual teams in project management and execution.
  • Monitoring various aspects including Systems, Network, Websites & Security (utilizing SolarWinds/LogicMonitor/PRTG).
  • Establishing frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure system fitness, proper maintenance, and security.
  • Staying updated on emerging spam and malware threats to proactively prevent or address issues.
  • Supervising daily monitoring and response to alarms, faults, and performance management activities. Ensuring swift network analysis, testing, and corrective measures during IT and network events to uphold the highest computing and network standards for our clients.

Senior System Administrator Infrastructure encompasses:

  • Microsoft Operating Systems – All desktop and server versions
  • SAN/Storage solutions such as Dell, NetApp, EMC
  • Data Backup and Recovery, Data Replication, Data Archival
  • Hypervisor technologies (VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V) implemented on both Traditional and Hyperconverged Infrastructures
  • Networking essentials – TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, DCHP, VLANS, VPN, DNS, SD-WAN
  • Firewall Technologies –Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, SonicWALL
