Senior System/Cloud Engineer – Managed Service Provider

The Senior Systems/Cloud Engineer is responsible for developing a technology framework and offering technical leadership to support global IT and client initiatives in systems, cloud computing, and automation. The role emphasizes designing systems and services that operate on cloud or on-premises platforms. Key responsibilities include ensuring that critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery. The role demands strong communication, documentation, and team-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team of high-performing professionals.

Senior System/Cloud Engineer – Managed Service Provider Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical expertise to align VMware Best Practices with company’s existing IT policies, workflows, and procedures in design process
  • Designing and implementing, migrating and supporting Windows, VMware/Hyper-V server networks
  • Maintaining and improving the technology infrastructure of our company, working closely with our team of L2 engineers to ensure operational efficiency
  • Deploying and configuration firewalls from scratch
  • AWS/Azure design, migrations and deployments
  • Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall)
  • Configuration, management, and troubleshooting skills for routers, switches, and firewalls

Senior System/Cloud Engineer – Managed Service Provider Requirements: 

  • Professional MSP (Managed Service Provider) Experience
  • Understanding of complex multi-site IT infrastructures and coordinating with clients to maintain and improve them
  • Experience in managing hybrid environments, with knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience working and understanding working with VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Experience with design and implementation
  • Experience with M365, P2V, and V2V migrations

Senior System/Cloud Engineer – Managed Service Provider Benefits:
