Senior System Engineer
Our business has expanded itself across the Chicago area and we have been in business for more than 20 years serving clients in medical, legal, and management. We are one of the leading Cloud/Security companies within the state. We are seeking a Level 3 – Senior System Engineer to join our team full-time and permanently. We are looking to continue to expand our senior system engineer team who will handle new infrastructure builds, assisting with business continuity services, and software upgrade rollout and project management. Senior System Engineer Experience:
- Strong experience with Cloud technologies (Azure)/virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls (SonicWall)
- Expertise working with storage, virtualization, Windows OS
- Ability to handle -Data backup and recovery solutions (Acronis, Datto, etc…)
- Advance experience working with M365 setup, migrations, and troubleshooting
- Advanced Scripting knowledge including PowerShell & Python is needed
- Ability to be the lead technical expert for all infrastructure-related outages, failures, and problems/coach level 1 & 2 support
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a very fast-moving environment
- Managed Service Provider or IT consultancy – MSP – experience required for consideration for this role
Senior System Engineer MSP Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: $100 – $115k
