📍 Location: Austin, TX – hybrid (2-3 days onsite weekly)

💼 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll serve as the go-to expert for designing, deploying, and managing IT infrastructure across a diverse client base (from startups to enterprise). This includes:

  • Leading infrastructure design (cloud & on-prem), upgrades, and migrations (Azure, VMware, Hyper-V)

  • Managing and implementing complex Active Directory environments, GPOs, and M365/Exchange Online

  • Building and maintaining virtualization platforms, backups (Veeam), firewalls, and secure networks

  • Acting as an escalation point for advanced issues and mentoring junior engineers

  • Collaborating directly with business clients and making tech decisions that have real impact

🧠 What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years in Systems Engineering or similar role (MSP experience is a must)

  • Deep hands-on experience with Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365

  • Strong grasp of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), firewalls (SonicWall, Meraki, etc.), and backup solutions

  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred) and automation tools

  • Excellent client communication and project ownership mindset

  • A desire to grow in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
