Senior System Engineer – Managed Services
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Remote)
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 Base + Benefits (DOE)

As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a key role in modernizing client infrastructures, leading migrations from on-premises environments to cloud-based solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, client-focused IT professional who enjoys managing multiple projects and delivering outstanding solutions.
Senior System Engineer – Managed Services Responsibilities:
- Deploy complex IT solutions using technologies such as Exchange, VMware, and Windows Server.
- Design and build network and server environments, including physical-to-virtual (P2V) migrations.
- Install and configure network, server, and desktop hardware for clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates.
- Analyze client business processes to recommend and implement effective technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues, including security incidents, software deployments, and server or desktop failures.
Senior System Engineer – Managed Services Requirements:
- Previous experience working for an MSP, MSSP, or CSP (Required).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and SMTP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Exchange, VMware, Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server, SQL Server, and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to manage projects and resolve technical challenges independently and as part of a team.
