Senior System Engineer (MSP)

The Senior System Engineer (MSP) will primarily handle project work. As a Senior System Engineer (MSP) you will be onboarding clients, migrating from on-prem to their IaaS solution, migrating from Exchange to M365, spinning up new VMware hosts and VMs, Azure deployments, configure SonicWALL Firewalls, Datto BCDR, Datto Networking, etc.

We are only considering Senior System Engineer (MSP) with previous MSP experience and the ability to commute to our Farmingdale, NY office.

Senior System Engineer (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • 4+ years of Managed Service Provider Experience REQUIRED for consideration
  • Work remotely installing, configuring and supporting PC, Server and Network infrastructure, including Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, VPN gateways, and other equipment.
  • Perform PC and Server installation, configuration and repair.
  • VMware host installation and configuration, and deployment of virtual machines.
  • Installation, support and administration of Windows Server solutions, including Windows Server, Exchange Server, and Remote Desktop Server.
  • Deployment, configuration, administration and support/troubleshooting of MS365 and MS Azure hosting environment.
  • Configuration of Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, VPN gateways.
  • Administration and support of EMC Storage Area Networks (SAN).
  • Create and maintain documentation, including configuration and support procedures, and LAN diagrams.
  • Work with the Incident Response Team to respond to security events internally as well as for clients.
