Role Overview: As a Service Desk Escalation Engineer, you will be the key escalation point for our tier 1 and tier 2 support technicians. You will work with a range of technologies, including Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, virtualization platforms, and network security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary escalation contact for complex technical issues from tier 1 and tier 2 support.
  • Provide support for Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, including hardware troubleshooting.
  • Design, implement, and support virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen).
  • Administer and migrate Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Perform device firmware and OS patching/upgrades as needed.
  • Configure and manage firewalls and firewall clusters, including multi-site policy configurations.
  • Oversee system backup and recovery processes and techniques.
