Service Desk Technician Level 2 (MSP)
We are a long standing MSP located in Lakewood, NJ. Our clients range from small to large sized businesses that outsource their IT needs. We provide provide clients with a full range of IT support including computer repair, network administration, help desk support, cloud administration, security-as-a-service, and much more.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to onboard a Service Desk Technician Level 2 (MSP). As the title suggest, the Service Desk Technician Level 2 (MSP) will be an escalation point for a L1 technicians and will support Engineers on projects. The Service Desk Technician Level 2 (MSP) must have a strong background supporting technologies such as AD/GPO, M365, Windows Server, Hyper-V, SonicWALL, Meraki, and Azure.
At this time we are only considering Service Desk Technician Level 2 (MSP) applicants with previous MSP experience.
Service Desk Technician Level 2 (MSP) Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for clients’ IT systems and applications.
- Proactively monitor and maintain clients’ IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with the team to implement new IT solutions and technologies for clients.
- Support onboarding of new Junior technicians.
- Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of client configurations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their IT needs and provide timely updates on support tickets.
Service Desk Technician Level 2 (MSP) Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working for a MSP
- Strong knowledge of MSP tools and platforms such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, Ninja, or similar products.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Supporting Hyper-V or VMware
- Administration of hybrid Azure environments (Entra ID, Intune)
- Firewall administration, preferably SonicWALL or Meraki
