Service Manager – MSP Experience:
- Great communication skills
- Experience working with a Managed Service Provider
- Windows desktop and server operating systems experience
- Active Directory, Group Policy
- Office 365 migration and applications experience
- Azure / AWS cloud knowledge and experience
- Assist in conducting analyses of new technologies and recommendations for system configurations and network design
- Implementation of wired and wireless network software/hardware installation and monitoring
- VMware / Hyper-V experience
- Networking experience (Cisco Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet)
- Management and oversight of incident response, assignments, escalation, and remediation.
- SLA obligations with rapid response times and fluid communication.
- Implementation/Administration of internal technical tools, knowledge base, RMM, etc.
- Work closely with the project manager on the handoff of projects to the support team.
- Responsible for evaluating and hiring technical resources as required and performing regular performance reviews.
- Understanding all that we are working on at a given time, including all tickets and projects.
- Keen understanding of workflow and business processes. For example, you should know what information you require to track technician time and analyze efficiency.
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
