SOC Engineer (Zscaler) REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED:

  • Advanced experience with Windows GPO
  • Advanced experience with VMware
  • Advanced experience with Zscaler
  • 6+ years of technical experience troubleshooting complex network, system, and end-user support issues
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

***Currently hold OR be willing and able to obtain 1-3 of the following certifications within a designated timeframe after onboarding: ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Azure, MCSE, VMware, CISSP, CEH, Fortinet NSE 4

SOC Engineer (Zscaler) Duties:

  • Implement security OS hardening using GPOs and scripting
  • Managing the MFA platform, Zscaler tenant, and audit security implementations
  • Build and maintain lab environments using VMware vCenter and ESXi
  • Manage the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) platform, Zscaler tenant, and audit security implementations for compliance
  • Design comprehensive cybersecurity architecture and devise effective computer security strategies
  • Build and maintain lab environments using VMware vCenter and ESXi to facilitate testing and development
  • Plan, develop, implement, and update the company’s information security strategy to align with industry best practices.
  • Identify, define, and document system security requirements and propose solutions to management
  • Develop, execute, and oversee security measures to safeguard information, network infrastructure, and computer systems.
  • Implement security OS hardening using Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and scripting techniques.
  • Possess the ability to obtain or hold relevant certifications, such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, VMware, CCNA, and CompTIA Security (a plus)
  • Develop, execute, and monitor security measures to safeguard information, network infrastructure, and computer systems
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate infrastructure, application, and OS vulnerabilities and compliance issues

Certification Reimbursement Training Program- $500-$2000 bonus per certification (you can select TWO of the following for each cert: training time (take a week off paid to learn for cert), testing fees paid for, bonus. Typically the yearly cap is 6K but if the company needs the certification for a better partnership or if the team is lacking expertise and wants to better the team then they will pay for the cert even if you have already earned the cap for certification bonuses!
