System Administrator (Cloud Team)

We have been providing the highest level of technology services to clients in NYC and throughout the US since 2000. We provide a variety of technical solutions for small and medium-sized businesses including managed IT services, project management, managed cloud services, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and web and application development. If it has an on/off switch, we manage it for our customers.

As a Systems Administrator (Cloud Team), you will serve as an escalation resource for our Support Services team in its effort to deliver IT and cybersecurity expertise to our clients, meaning an expectation of being able to find answers to complex technical issues, proactively maintaining client IT environments, and staying up to date with business technology systems. The System Administrator (Cloud Team) will also work alongside Senior Engineers on projects to modernize client infrastructures.

System Administrator (Cloud Team) Responsibilities & Projects:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 service tickets to provide senior level technical IT support to local and remote clients.
  • Work alongside Senior Engineers performing projects
  • Perform hardware and software installations and updates.
  • Ensure all client issues are thoroughly documented and account for all time spent supporting clients and provide an audit trail for all work performed.
  • Moving clients into a cloud virtual desktop environment
  • Moving network file shares to SharePoint Online Document libraries
  • Moving from classic AD to Azure Entra ID, including joining endpoints to Azure Entra ID
  • Implementing security features and functionality
  • Onboarding new clients

System Administrator (Cloud Team) Technical Knowledge:

  • Cybersecurity best practices
  • Network troubleshooting skills
  • Active Directory and Azure Entra ID
  • Microsoft Exchange and M365
  • Hands-on Configuration and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Patch panel and cabling knowledge
  • Antivirus – Sentinel One and Webroot preferred
  • Windows 10/11 and Mac OS
  • Windows Desktop Support (printers, networking, virus removal, VPN, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting Smartphones
  • Solid understanding of data recovery
  • Hard drive RAID configuration
  • All Microsoft Office applications
  • ConnectWise highly preferred

System Administrator (Cloud Team) Salary + Benefits:

  •  $80,000 – $90,000
