System Administrator II – Managed Services | East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid)
Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid Schedule)
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000
A growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) based in East Hanover, NJ is actively seeking a System Administrator II to join their technical team. This role offers a mix of onsite and remote work, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to work across diverse client environments. You’ll handle everything from server administration to project-based implementations and client support.
System Administrator II (Hybrid Workplace) – MSP Responsibilities:
- Provide server administration and ongoing technical support to clients.
- Collaborate with clients on best practices, advanced troubleshooting, and systems design.
- Participate in projects to implement, upgrade, and maintain client hardware/software systems.
- Work hands-on with virtualization and cloud computing technologies such as VMware and perform P2V migrations.
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco, SonicWall, Meraki, Fortinet).
- Maintain and manage Windows Server (2010 – 2019) environments.
- Use RMM and ticketing tools including ConnectWise, Kaseya, and Datto.
- Manage Active Directory, including onboarding/offboarding and syncing with Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
System Administrator II (Hybrid Workplace) – MSP Requirements:
- MSP Experience is required (Top Requirement).
- Proficient with firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with RMM tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, and Datto.
- Strong experience with virtualization platforms: VMware or Hyper-V.
