System Administrator Level 2 (MSP):

This is a full-time, permanent, W2 position that has full benefits and clear paths to grow into Senior roles.

We have been experiencing consistent growth for the last 5 years which is why we’re seeking a System Administrator Level 2 (MSP). This person will spend 70% of their time on escalations and 30% on backend project work. The System Administrator Level 2 (MSP) requires previous MSP experience.

System Administrator Level 2 (MSP) Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Providing remote and onsite level 2/3 escalated server support and system/network administration with a focus on client satisfaction and technical expertise
  • Perform remote and onsite project work such as: Network and Server upgrades and builds
  • Perform system and network diagnostics, repairs and suggest improvements
  • Install, configure, and deploy Microsoft Windows workstations and servers (server version 2012 R2 through 2022)
  • Install, configure, and deploy switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points (Cisco, SonicWALL)
  • Intermediate understanding of networking protocols and ability to configure TCP/IP subnetting and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
  • Advanced troubleshooting of client specific software issues with Windows, M365 and other applications (QuickBooks, Sage, Adobe, etc.)
  • Configure and provision users, permissions, and email accounts in AD/GPO, Azure Entra ID, Exchange and Microsoft 365
  • Work with Autotask and Datto RMM to resolve escalated tickets.
  • Proactive maintenance, documentation, and testing of client network environments
