We are a well-established Managed Services Provider based in Plano, Texas is seeking an experienced System Administrator (MSP/Azure) with strong Microsoft 365 and Azure expertise. This full-time, in-office role blends project implementation with escalated technical support, offering a mix of hands-on infrastructure work and client-facing solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced MSP environment.
You’ll work with a seasoned team of IT professionals serving a diverse client base while driving key infrastructure initiatives, system migrations, and cloud strategy across multiple industries. System Administrator (MSP/Azure) What You’ll Do
- Split your time between infrastructure projects (50%) and escalated support (50%)
- Administer Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and user management
- Maintain and configure Windows Server environments (DNS, DHCP, GPOs)
- Support hybrid identity environments: Azure Entra ID, on-prem AD, and Microsoft Exchange
- Conduct routine server audits and implement security best practices
- Manage backup systems and disaster recovery processes
- Troubleshoot escalated technical issues related to servers, cloud services, and user access
- Collaborate with networking and security teams to optimize system performance
System Administrator (MSP/Azure) Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1 year working for a Managed Services Provider
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration or Microsoft Cloud roles
- Strong understanding of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 and Active Directory
- Hands-on experience with Azure VMs, AAD, storage, and networking
- PowerShell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 Certified and/or Azure Administrator Associate preferred
- Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or Verge.io is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field preferred but not required
