System Administrator – Team Lead (MSP):

Our current opening is for a System Administrator – Team Lead (MSP) who is not only technically skilled but also thrives in a leadership role. The System Administrator – Team Lead (MSP) will work closely with our Service Desk team to improve processes, mentor technicians, and ensure the delivery of exceptional IT support. You will work closely with leadership to define service delivery standards and be able to elevate your career by shaping operational excellence.
The System Administrator – Team Lead (MSP) role requires at least 1 year of MSP experience and previous IT management experience as a Team Lead or a Manager.
System Administrator – Team Lead (MSP) Responsibilities:
- Guide, train, and mentor Service Desk Technicians on ticket resolution, technical growth, and best practices.
- Develop and implement KPIs, SLAs, and SOPs to streamline service delivery and improve client satisfaction.
- Handle high-level escalations and ensure timely resolution of complex technical issues.
- Manage and maintain AD/GPO, Microsoft Cloud solutions, and Kaseya/Autotask systems.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the Kaseya/Autotask suite.
- Act as a technical liaison between the Service Desk and Lead Engineer, ensuring smooth operations and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide strategic solutions.
System Administrator – Team Lead (MSP) Required Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365).
- Proven expertise in Kaseya/Autotask for IT process automation and management.
- Advanced Active Directory administration and Group Policy management.
- Proficiency with backup and disaster recovery solutions with Datto.
- Knowledge of SonicWall or similar networking appliances.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools (e.g., EDR, Dark Web ID).
System Administrator – Team Lead (MSP) Salary + Benefits:
- $80,000 – $95,000 (dependent on management experience)
