As a System Administrator Tier 2.5 – Projects Team (MSP),you will play a critical role in the successful implementation of IT projects and solutions for our clients. The System Administrator Tier 2.5 – Projects Team (MSP) primary responsibility will be to implement, deploy, and support complex technology solutions autonomously and on a team. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects from initiation to completion.

System Administrator Tier 2.5 – Projects Team (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Project Implementation
  • Ability to follow Statement of Work and Project Design
  • Ability to follow and create checklists and procedures.
  • Report on hours (actual vs budget)
  • Identify Out of Scope and Change Order issues
  • Report on metrics
  • Architectural Design & Review
  • Create project design with milestones and timelines
  • Work with Project Leadership to create SOWs and necessary work documents
  • Review finished SOWs
  • Documentation

System Administrator Tier 2.5 – Projects Team (MSP) Technologies:

  • Servers and PC’s (hardware and software).
  • Microsoft Windows Networks (Active Directory, Group Policy).
  • Networking Technologies (DFS, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, WiFi).
  • Email Infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Exchange, SPAM, etc.) and Protocols. (SMTP, IMAP, ActiveSync, etc.).
  • Remote Desktop services (Microsoft RDP).
  • Virtualization Technology (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.).
  • Server Backups and Disaster Recovery Solutions (Veeam, etc.).
  • Network Monitoring and Management Tools (N-Central, etc.).
  • Security Solutions including Firewalls, A/V and EDR (Bit Defender, etc.).
  • Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.).
