System Administrator Tier 2 (Managed Services) Overview:

As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced System Administrator Tier 2 (Managed Services) to join our team. This full-time role offers a collaborative and relaxed work environment where you’ll provide advanced support, tackle project-based initiatives alongside a senior engineer, and handle occasional on-site visits within the OC area. Your expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure, networking (Cisco and SonicWall), desktops, and virtual servers will be key to ensuring smooth IT operations for our clients.

System Administrator Tier 2 (Managed Services) Day to Day:

  • Provide escalated IT support and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks
  • Assist with project implementations, including server and network deployments
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, and SQL environments
  • Set up and configure client software, deploy updates, and install patches
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to optimize IT infrastructure

System Administrator Tier 2 (Managed Services) Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of MSP experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, desktop OS, and networking technologies (Cisco, SonicWall, network security)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Apps, cloud services, and backup solutions
  • Ability to develop and implement disaster recovery and continuity plans
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and on a team
